Fabulous designer and Project Runway alum Malan Breton gives Out.com Stylelist his take on last night's Runway Finale:

"As I sat in the small viewing room at the Tribeca Grand where the TRESemé Tim Gunn Project Runway 4 finale party took place, I was reminded of why I became a designer: the raw element that comes from creating a beautiful garment.

I had my favorites but I was not on the judging panel. I adored the theatricality of Christian's collection, the Jillian's sportswear, and the detail in Rami's collection was stunning. By far this has been the strongest fashion showing that Project Runway has ever seen.

Darlings, I was moved when Victorya proclaimed her love of Christian's work. People often give her a rough time about her own fashion choices but she is a free spirit—one who does not live by a book of fashion but rather by her own sense of style.

I was moved to see the judges name Christian Siriano the winner. I remember meeting him briefly many months ago and thinking  that he was not arrogant at all but that he was just a young artist trying to get the world to see his gift—and an amazing one it is.

I look forward to seeing all of these designers reach a great level of success. I am also excited that another designer who has such a strong vision made it to win. Did you see Victorya tear up at Christian's response? Darlings, that is reality. We all have a gift to give and when it is validated there is nothing greater."
