Where's Cavalli H&M Ads; Devil Wears Cocktail; Defending Marc Jacobs Again; Courtney Love Vs. Kate Moss! Catfight!

Do you remember the "Where's Waldo?" books of your youth? Check out the latest image from Roberto Cavalli's ad campaign for his upcoming H&M line—set to hit stores in November. Where's Cavalli? [WWD]

Someone spilled a drink on Vogue editrix Anna Wintour at the V&A gala in London and lived to tell the tale. The Devil Wears Cocktails.  [Vogue UK via Jezebel]

How do fashion designers recover after a week of shows, parties, boozing and last minute fittings? The same thing that you and I would do: Sleep or take a vacation. They're just like Us! [Fashion Informer]

Designer Giles Deacon defends Marc Jacobs' tardy show telling NY Times' fashion critic Cathy Horyn that "few people probably knew that Jacobs dressed each model himself that night." Horyn then defends him as well, "If you’re responsible for eight collections a year, if you’re always under pressure, I suppose you’re going to be more sensitive to the things you absolutely can control." Why is everyone so surprised that MJ's show was late? He's always late—fashionably so. [NY Times via Jezebel]

Courtney Love tripped Kate Moss on the red carpet at the V&A Gala last night. Oooh, that would be a drug-fueled cat fight that I'd like to see. I mean, if they were both still doing drugs, that is... which they are not...of course. [Vogue UK via Jezebel]

Friday Fashion News Round Up!

What would Fashion Week be without the blonde bombshell Donatella Versace? Boring, that's what. Lucky for us, she's flying in for the occasion to booze it up with fellow designers, hold a launch event for the company's new "Hit" bag and a private shopping event for American Express cardholders. CFDA reminds designers to promote healthy models, not waifs that will tumble over at the slightest breeze. [WWD]

Fall? Spring? Who cares? We'll still wear the same pair of jeans. [WSJ]

Zac Posen wants to be the teacher's pet. He designed a limited-edition tote inspired by his favorite teacher at St. Ann's School for the Arts in Brooklyn Heights. Proceeds from the back will benefit TeachersCount, a non-profit that supports teachers of course. [WWD]

Cynthia Rowley had three teeth knocked out while wakeboarding in Montauk. Ouch! [WWD]

The MisShapes book! See 1001 photos of oddly dressed creatures of the night...and a few celebrities like Madonna, Hedi Slimane...who attended the MisShapes party in NYC. Do people still go? Or is it totally over once you get the book deal? [NY Mag]

Yves Saint Laurent will distribute two million copies of YSL fashion propaganda newspaper dubbed "Manifesto," starting Sept. 6 and 7 in New York during fashion week. Look for it in The New York Times. [WWD]

All the Rage

73288079 Remember 28 Days Later, the 2002 Brit thriller that featured a (brief) shot of Cillian Murphy naked? Remember the name of the super-scary virus lovely Cillian was running away from? Rage.

Everyday, real-life varieties of rage, like road rage, air rage, and cubicle rage, aren't generally transmitted by biting, but are far more common than the 28 Days Later kind. Pop MD Mehmet Oz offers these smart strategies for dealing with rage, including the surprising finding that throwing alcohol on a fire may put it out:

"Having a drink when you're angry can be a good thing, because alcohol calms your brain's executive center -- its reactionary autopilot."

Does Washington Have No Good Gay Bars?

Probably not. Maybe yes? Sorry, we have no idea. Not the point. DC homos party it up wherever they want, whenever the Guerrilla Queer Bar gang says so. ABC has the story.

Miss Sixty After-Party with Special Guest “Eve”

Chris_wyle The girls and boys were out in full force for the Miss Sixty after-party at 7 World Trade Center, including Chris Wile, Director of Advertising and Marketing Services, Prada (above left) and Garrett Montoya. This has become one hot happening spot since Calvin Klein had its party here last season. The Lucite bar was free-flowing with Svedka vodka and Tab Energy drinks. Once you got your groove on, you could dance and twirl to the music on the dance floor.

Eve_mssixty The highlight of the night was Eve (pictured here with me!) performing a small concert set with old school tunes from “Gangsta Lovin” to “Who’s That Girl” and seeing the crowd go crazy. Bring out the gangsta biatch in you and look out for her new CD in May.
