Out's September fashion story "The Migrants," shot by Walter Chin, features some of fall's hottest runway looks and was shot on location at an upstate New York farm. We asked Out's editorial and fashion assistant, Brent Coover, to instruct us on the fine art of adding a few key pieces to your wardrobe -- without looking like a country bumpkin.

Dolce & Gabbana's equestrian inspired runway show featured tailored pants and luxe riding boots paired with chunky scarves and sweaters. The result encompasses masculine ease but isn't sloppy. Grab those loose knit pieces that look handmade, but not homely.
The problem with shearling is that it is so sexy. Who doesn't fantasize about a lumberjack or a farmhand? But on common boys or city folk, it can easily seem silly and like you're trying too hard. This Marc Jacobs jacket (above left) with shearling collar and lining, however, has a modern and fresh cut and color.
Playing with proportions is definitely something to take note of, though it may not be for everyone. Alexander McQueen's shawl collar cardigan (above right) is a prime example -- it would look great with suiting pieces or just a great pair of worn-in jeans.
Let's be honest, no one actually looks this good chopping up trees. Then again, no one wears head-to-toe Gucci while gathering firewood. But look at that beautiful leather jacket with fur collar! Definitely a must-have item.
Plaid, whether tartan or bold, woven cotton or knit wool, is a necessary purchase if you don't already own. It was around last year and by the looks of this Yohji Yamamoto jacket (above left), it really isn't going anywhere.
An entire pony hair trench, like this Burberry (above right), is a tough one albeit beautiful. It's a nice variation from the usual textures. Try a pony hair belt or pony loafers.
The great thing about these brown D&G leather cargo pants is that they have that worn-in look and yet the cut is entirely new. Check out the elastic finish at the hem. We've been seeing this on all kinds of trousers, including knit pants in cashmere, wool, and cotton, which was an overwhelming trend.
The lesson to be learned from this Calvin Klein look: feel free to mix textures, fabrics, and colors, especially when dressing in less than common materials like suede.
The only problem? While we adore New York magazine, it appears they need a crash course in Gender Studies 101 ASAP. After discussing Teri Toye -- one of the first transgender models to appear in editorials in mainstream fashion magazines, including a spread in Interview wearing Gaultier -- they move onto RuPaul. Granted, Ru did do much to expose middle America to the joys of gender bending campy self-expression as one of the first widely known and publicized bad ass drag queens on the scene, but she isn't trans. Neither is Andre J, the newly appointed bearded first lady of fashion who was featured in our very own Out magazine and was shot by Bruce Weber alongside Carolyn Murphy for French Vogue last November.
Don't get us wrong: obviously there's some major gender mischief at work here, but even in the loosey-goosey fashion world where anything and everything goes, you can't just label everyone whose identification with or tendencies toward the male or the female is flip-flopped, off track, or puzzling as trannies.
Still, we appreciate the article -- however misinformed -- if only for reminding us how far fashion has come, and how far it has to go. And here's to hoping Isis can survive Tyra long enough to turn a few heads and change a few minds.
"It was lightning in a bottle," says Paul Wilmot, who was head of public relations at Calvin Klein in the late 1980's, when the supermodel phenomenon took flight. "Suddenly you had five or six incredibly glamorous and beautiful girls, and they all looked different. And they all were known by their first names. And they all palled around. That has never happened before. It was almost the female equivalent of Sinatra's Rat Pack."
Look no further than September's Vogue to find the Supers in a succession of ads: YSL, Prada and Chanel, starring Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista and Claudia Schiffer. Turn another page for Kate Moss cocooned in Donna Karan's claret wool bouclé, then Stella Tennant posed in gold lamé Marc Jacobs and then, a few pages later, Tennant again, this time jeweled and glossy for Vera Wang.
On the way from Kate to Stella, don't miss a visit from "'90s icon Alex Lindquist for Brooks Brothers (in other photos from this spread, not in Vogue, he shares the bench with "80s Bruce Weber muse and model Jeff Aquilon). At 300 or so pages in there's also a double page spread of Christie Turlington in Escada, and then Schiffer again, paired with the sensational ballet dancer Robert Bollé for Salvatore Ferragamo...
The glamazons return -- and we haven't even hit the editorial yet. In the meantime, enjoy this clip shot by fashion photographer Peter Lindbergh, which captures the creative zeitgeist of the girls' silent screen aura:
Making waves across the pond is Prince Charles'--yes, that Prince Charles--five piece organic skin treatment set called Highgrove, named after his estate in Gloucestershire. It's already widely sold out across the continent, and we hope it works miracles because God knows Camilla's hurting for one. [WWD]
Annoyingly ubiquitous Justin Timberlake will headline the Conde Nast benefit, Fashion Rocks, on September 5th, which is oh-so-coincidentally the start date of NY Fashion Week. Sounds like someone could use a little lesson in saturation. [Fashionista]
The tattoo-inspired inaugural fragrance launch from Ed Hardy by Christian Audigier was so successful he'll launch a follow up pair of men's and women's fragrances this December. Nothing like a new scent for the holidays to cover up the desperate smell of alcohol and bitterness. [WWD]
While at first they were glad to get some well-received coverage when Agnyess Deyn fronted for one of their songs, bandmates of Five O'clock Heroes are now getting a little tired of being overshadowed by all the attention her one tune, "Who," is getting. The model shadow does loom large indeed. [Contact Music]
As if designing clothes isn't time consuming enough. ADAM designer Adam Lippes will launch a blog on his website, shopadam.com. I'm sure it will be great and all, but never forget where your allegiances lie, bitches...[WWD]
To commemorate the brand's 40th anniversary, Calvin Klein will stage a full-scale menswear show next February during New York Fashion Week. Normally shown in Milan, it's about time Mr. Klein shed that hoity-toity attitude and came home. [DNR]
Having waited a year for Yohji Yamamoto's diffusion line, Coming Soon, we can now stop fretting our perfectly coiffed heads and finally get our hands on a few of the pieces that have hit NYC store Odin. It's been a limited roll out thus far, but expect to see more pieces hit more stores by 2009. [The Cut]
The (Capsule) New York trade show is going on now in New York, alluding to a few items we'll all likely be wearing next spring (because we are so ahead of the curve, you know). [Material Interest]
Ashton Kutcher is getting back to his modeling roots in the Pepe Jeans Fall ad campaign. Yes, funny can be sexy, but a hot man in nice clothes is always sexy. [Towleroad]
Not long ago your Stylelist reported the looming (re)trend of thermochromatic t-shirts (that's Hypercolor for all you 80's kids). Well, never ones to miss out on a hipster trend, American Apparel has their own version for only $34! Now all I need to do is dig around in my closet for those acid-washed jeans of mine...[Fabsugar]
Tumi is expanding its T-tech line with a full outerwear and bags. Perfect, because a wrinkle-resistant cotton blazer is just what my monthly camping trips have been missing. [DNR]
Renzo Rosso, the big guy behind Diesel, has acquired a major stake in darling Dutch design team, Viktor & Rolf. A huge merger to say the least, the possibilities are exciting, as long as Rosso doesn't get to carried away with the overly-edged Diesel aesthetic. [WWD]
Have Daniel and Wesley of this season's Project Runway found themselves in their own runway romance? According to their MySpace pages, they just might have. [Towleroad]
While fall saw lady's neck lines creeping higher and higher (hide those girls, girls), men's necklines keep getting deeper and deeper. American Apparel has already begun preparations for sellouts. [Prim and proper]
Parent-less children were in a frenzy after Tom Ford mentioned in Fantastic Man that he wanted to adopt a child by the end of 2008. Turns out he was putting the cart before the horse. He's now saying he's got no plans to do so, and, when he does, he won't let our greedy little eyes see it. Bitch. [FWD]
I'm only mentioning this because Anya is one of my favorite girls in ANTM history--and, frankly, one of the few who deserves a modeling contract. I hope to see her during Fashion Week! [The Cut]

It's hard to look chic and cool (we're talking temperature here, fellas) in the summer, but L.A. based label Lova has all those wonderfully tailored summer pieces that make you look great, even if you are a tad damp. [Urban Daddy]
After a seven year hiatus from the scent business, Wolfgang Joop announced he will release a new fragrance in the fall. It will have notes of coriander, vetiver, sandalwood, cinnamon, and patchouli, meaning you'll smell minty fresh. [WWD]
They're in, they're out, they're in, and now, officially, they're out. L.A. boutique Kitson finally got their story straight and said they are dropping Victoria Beckham's men's denim line from dVd because of poor demand. In related news, they are also dropping Lauren Conrad's line as well, but, honestly, who didn't see that coming? [The Cut]
Hedi Slimane is mulling over his fashion comeback and it could involve--wait, are you ready?--his own menswear line! I think I just peed a little...[The Cut] via [WWD]
Thom Browne apparently ruffled some conservative feathers when he wore his signature highwater pants to a reception at the White House hosted by Laura Bush for the winners of the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Awards. One witness said he drew "more than a few stares," especially from guardsman. It's always fun to watch the righties squirm, isn't it? [WWD]
Perma-hottie Garrett Neff is starring in Calvin Klein's new underwear
campaign. Though David Beckham he isn't, he's still just delicious. [British Vogue]
The CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Nominees were announced yesterday, and among the ten were a few menswear designers: Richard Chai; Alejandro Ingelmo; John Patrick of Organic; and Swaim and Christina Hutson of Obedient Sons. Remember those names, boys. [Material Interest]
Though we're sure you're still recuperating from the overexertion caused by last week's sizzling behind-the-scenes look at Out's August baseball inspired fashion story "The Pickup Game," shot by Stewart Shining, we thought you'd appreciate a little extra something something to start off your workweek.
Today we have a few exclusive outtakes from the accessories story "Jump Start," photographed by M. Sharkey, featuring Charles.
...The blank canvas.
...The beautification process begins.
...Foosin' around.
...Contemplation in a Speedo.
Photos: Brent Coover
The full "Jump Start" story is available in the August issue of Out
in stores now! And if you aren't hot and bothered enough already, one)
you might want to check your pulse and two) you should get yourself
over to Out.com's Model Citizen for more Charles.
Time for another batch of exclusive behind-the-scenes model shots
from Out's August baseball inspired fashion story "The Pickup Game,"
shot by Stewart Shining. The full story is waiting patiently in your
favorite local magazine or book store to be scooped up and brought
home, but if you need to peruse it immediately -- and we totally
understand if that's the case -- you can find it in its entirety at Out.com.
But now, back to today's outtakes featuring Ryan:
...Pre-game posing.
...Taking a break from the action.
...Trickin' on the sidelines.
...Becoming one with the sandlot.
...How dirty boys look clean.

If you need more Ryan -- and chances are you do -- you can find
another exclusive shot and whether he prefers boxers, briefs, or going
commando at Out.com's Model Citizen.
And of course, we'll be featuring another model from August's "The
Pickup Game" shoot here tomorrow, so if you know what's good for you,
you'll make it a priority to check back in with us then.
Out's August issue is finally available, and to celebrate we're
bringing you behind-the-scenes coverage of our baseball inspired
fashion story "The Pickup Game," photographed by Stewart Shining. The full story is available in stores or at Out.com, but below are a few outtakes from the shoot featuring Edilson that we're certain you'll enjoy.
...Pre-game R&R.
...Warming the bench.
...Surveying the field.
...Partnering up.
...Glove in hand.

There's more Edilson to be had at Out.com's Model Citizen and more exclusive shots of all the models from August's "The Pickup Game" spread to come!
Karl Lagerfeld is designing a few limited edition homes for Isla Moda,
a fashion inspired (and seemingly fashion only) community under
construction in Dubai. [The Cut]
It seems like the Armani underwear ads with Mr. Becks have just reached their boiling point, but the label has already announced their new model for the Fall 08 ads. His name is Takeshi Kaneshiro, and he is oh so delicious--and also the first Asian model for a major Armani ad campaign. Hooray for diversity! [Fashionista]
Yes, everyone--another celebrity fashion line. This time from Gossip Girl cast member Ed Westwick, who plays conniving and annoyingly over-the-top Chuck. He says he wants to add his "two cents" to the label he wore for his Vanity Fair shoot, which would imply either Thom Browne or Jack Spade. While we are more intrigued (and way excited) about the rumors that he and Chace Crawford (Nate) are real life lovers, we still have much higher hopes for his collaboration than Perez Hilton for Hot Topic. Bleh. [Fashionista]
Leonardo DiCaprio is working with his favorite watch designer, Jaeger-LeCoultre, to design time pieces for the Time to Care program, as well as develop a couple more to benefit the Leonardo DiCaprio Fund at
the California Community Foundation. The timepieces will debut in fall
2008, and all proceeds from the sales will directly benefit the cause. I'm moved by his initiative, but being that they retail for $300,000-400,000, I'm not feeling so charitable. [Fashion Week Daily]
Known and respected since the 70s, Linda Farrow sunglasses are known for a dark intense aesthetic that continues to peak the interest of the industry and consumers. Now, the label is set to collaborate with Yohji Yomamoto in a pairing that is as exciting as it is ambiguous. [Refinery 29]
It's day two in our exclusive, behind-the-scenes coverage of the
baseball inspired "The Pickup Game" fashion photo shoot from Out's
August issue. The full story is in stores now and will also be
available for viewing at Out.com later this week, but until then, here are a few outtakes from the shoot featuring Logan.
...Logan arrives a skateboarder...
...But is soon transformed into a ballplayer...
...And even sooner stripped of his shirt.
...Getting into the swing of things.
...Taking a timeout.

And don't forget to come back tomorrow for another featured model from August's "The Pickup Game" photo shoot.
If you're the type who just can't get enough of a good thing, boy do we have a treat for you. To celebrate the release of Out's August issue, we'll be posting behind-the-scenes model outtakes from the baseball themed fashion story "The Pickup Game" shot by Stewart Shining. Check out the full story in stores and on

First up to bat is Eric:
...Stretching before the big game.
...Meeting on the mound.
...Shirtless and smiling.
...Effortlessly perfecting the perfect effortless pose.

If you want to find out more about Eric -- including why he'd choose
to be reincarnated as Tarzan (other than totally having the pecs to
pull it off) -- head over to Out.com's Model Citizen. And check out Stylelist every day in the coming weeks for a new featured model.
Sometimes brand new jeans are just too stiff, and those "vintage" type jeans are just too, well, vintage. Leave it to denim superstars A.P.C. to develop a middle man. Newly introduced are their Butler Worn Out series of denim, which are pairs of jeans worn exactly one time before being sold to consumers. [Material Interest]
Naomi Campbell will not be going to prison for her violent outburst on a British Airways flight. Instead she just lands a spread in Vogue Italia. [WWD] and [Fashionista]
New York City was named, for the fourth year in a row, the best fashion city in the world according to a survey by a U.S.-based language use group. Like, duh. [tmtbox]
Those ever resourceful Indonesians are using leftover, discarded and found materials to make trendy and affordable garments in a new movement called "trashion." The bag lady on my corner who drinks bleach told me "homeless-chic" would be all the rage this season. [MSNBC]
I noted last week that Stockholm was embarking on their annual fashion week as well; and, though noticeably overshadowed by the big boys in Milan and Paris, Acne S/S 09 showed some muscle in Sweden. Maybe next year they'll move to the majors? [Material Interest]
To our heart's dismay, Stefano Pilati kicked off Paris Fashion Week with a video runway show featuring Jack Houston for YSL's Spring 09' collection. Yes, it's so avant garde, but how dare they deprive us of our models! [The Cut]
First Vivienne Westwood sent that bear of a man down the runway, then
DSquared2 showed their collection with a noticeable absensce of white
models, and now, in Yohji Yamamoto's Paris show, he used old men as
models. Yes, we may be losing eye candy at the hands of social
commentary, but I think designers are finally starting to make
statements about the lack of diversity in the fashion world. [The Cut]
Ok, keep it together when I tell you this, but, It is with great
anticipation that I report that Dior Homme is reportedly trying to get
Hedi Slimane back at their label. [Fashionista]
Just in time for a less humiliating summer is The Mangroomer, a foldable back hair remover. Isn't that what boyfriends and best friends are for? [Haute Concept]
La Perla has just release a new men's fragrance called Hedo White. The fragrance notes include lemon, bergamot, grapefruit, pear,
watermelon, ginger, cardamom, cypress, patchouli, musk, tonka bean and
cedar. Hooray, lots of fruit for fruits! [Now Smell This]
I can handle the belted waist for men (it looks surprisingly masculine), but the wedges Fendi showed in their men's show? Your Stylelist will have to veto. [Time UK]
But he approves the classy leather clutches that showed in Milan and continue to come down runways in Paris. [Fashionista]
Check back after the weekend for more on all the fashion mayhem in Paris!
We all might as well admit that we like to dab a little powder on our faces now and then to cover up unsightly blemishes, dark circles and (gasp!) wrinkles, and now, to better combat the latter, Peter Thomas has announced the launch of a new anti-wrinkle powder in his popular Un-Wrinkle range. Using a synthetic ingredient called SYN-AKE, the pressed power contains ingredients that act as muscle relaxers who's results are "similar to the paralyzing effects of snake venom." If it's going to stop those crow's feet, then bite me baby. [BellaSugar]
Petey, the winner of V Magazine's latest modeling competition, may have already dropped his last name in a move of pretentious self-promotion, but it's not hard to see through those chiseled abs and glass-cutting cheekbones to the aw-shucks-boy-from-Tennessee inside. Hedi Slimane may have shot him for the mag, proving yet again that everything he touches turns to fashion gold, but Petey admits not only that Jim Carrey is his biggest hero, but also that he aspired to be on the cover of WWE magazine. Our advice: shut up and just look pretty, k? Thanks. [The Cut]
It's an all out stage war, bitches! First, we heard that Mario Lopez was feeling a little inadequate when his cast mate from A Chorus Line, Nick Adams, showed up with better biceps, requesting that Adams wear a long sleeved shirt so as not to upstage Lopez, and now eye-candy underwear company 2(x)ist is cashing in on the controversy by featuring Adams in their latest ad campaign instead of their original choice (you guessed it), Lopez. We say put the both in the ad campaign and let the battle of the bulge continue. [NYP]
First John Varvatos goes to Milan with his collection, and now Ralph Lauren is set to take his Purple and Black label to Paris at the end of this month. We get it--our dollar is weak, our President sucks, and everyone is getting fatter by the minute, but, please! Spare us our fashion dignity! [Haute Concept]
Let's play word association. Is say "Croatia" and what do you think of? Right--sexy beaches and land mines. OK, it turns out the country is famous for something else too: the birth of the neck tie! Croata, one of the countries premiere tie boutiques, is issuing a limited-edition series of designs called the "Croata 4" to hopefully get the world thinking about something other than dismembered (albeit tan) bodies when it comes to their home country. [Material Interest]
It seems those blokes across the pond may have found as close to a cure for balding as ever. Using “follicular cell implantation” researchers can clone thousands of hairs from just a sample of 100. Now if they could only get a handle on their dental situation.[Times UK]
Steven Alan is a busy boy. Not only will he open a Brooklyn store sometime next year, but he is now set to launch a new line with Urban Outfitters called Lark & Wolff. Victor & Rolf will not be pleased with a cheaper, more accessible ampersand. [The Cut]
The Daily Mail laggingly reported that Naomi Campbell would be replacing Kate Moss as the face of YSL all the while sitting on a golden nugget of information. That nugget? Naomi Campbell had an operation to become a single mother. I think it might be time for a priority check over there. [The Daily Mail]
Roberto Cavalli has recently been hinting that he might sell his company, but, if a deal is inked, he says he's not going anywhere. The guy just can't leave his beloved leopard and zebra prints. [WWD]
P. Diddy recently said in an interview with an Irish newspaper that he'd love to do a fashion line with David Beckham. "He's a good friend
and is very kind. Us two together doing business would be
amazing...Perhaps we could collaborate to do something for charity." Unfortunately for Diddy, Beckham has already been meeting with Snoop Dogg regarding a shoe line. We advise Diddy that David Beckham, as luscious as he is, is not worth another rapper feud. [Fashionista]
15-year old Greenwich village musician Hayes Peebles (hehe, Peebles) has recently become the apple of Hedi Slimane's eye, who shot him recently for V Magazine. We dare say Slimane can do no wrong, but let's hope this crush doesn't extend beyond the boys musical talent. [The Cut]
At her womenswear presentation last night, Elise Øverland hinted that
she might make a foray into menswear. A support petition is being
drafted as we speak. [Fashionista]
Having been scoffed at for using moisturizers and anti-aging creams since the tender age of 14, I know turn those scoffs in your direction, skeptical naysayers. Studies now prove that all that cream actually works! No wonder I can still bag those college boys. [Cosmetic Designs]
Naomi Campbell was charged with assault for her little tiff at Heathrow airport. She could face up to 6 months in jail and $10,000 in fines. Something tells me she would do pretty well in a prison fight. [The Cut via WWD]
Though I wouldn't say this is an issue for most readers of this blog, but, would you carry a woman's purse if it had just the right amount of masculine appeal? [Fashionista]
Leave it to always-saavy France to have the first magazine that fuses fashion with video games. Will this finally convince my avid-gamer brother to buy a shirt that actually fits him, or just a decent pair of pants? Honestly... [Towleroad]
Though his name mostly pops up in reference to his bedmates, his ceaseless flaunting of his body or—somtimes—his clothing, could you ever imagine hearing Marc Jacobs pared with real estate mogul? Yup, #63 to be exact on the The 100 Most Powerful People in New York Real Estate. [The Cut via NYO]
Up to this point, all the drag queens could get on TV was a one-time America's Next Top Model-esque competition on The Tyra Banks show. Not that we don't appreciate her effort, but RuPaul (pictured) is poised to out do her with Drag Race, which hopes to find "America's next superstar drag queen." [The Hollywood Reporter]
As we reported last week, Jessica Stam was set to DJ at the Down to Earth party last night. It turns our words were twisted and she was only attending the party with her DJ friends—who spun the party—in tow. Now that's music to our ears. [Fashion Week Daily]
Everyone (designers, stars, paparazzi, your Stylelist...wait, no) is off to the French Riviera this week for the Cannes Film Festival. Eyes are peeled for what's hot on the screen, who's going to be seen, and, most importantly, who they'll be seen in. [WWD]
Our sassy sister and friends at Popnography have got the goods!
Check out behind the scenes photos from one of Out's hottest fashion shoots ever! Pick up the June/July double issue to see the hottest models of 2008 go head to head.
Here's a peek at Blake. To learn more about him, visit Model Citizen.
Jerry Kaye, former creative director at Perry Ellis, is now taking his talents to Dr. Marten. God, I remember when yellow stitched Doc Marten boots were the only stamp of cool. I basically bitched slapped my mother until she bought me, like, 8 pairs. Let's hope Kaye's plans to expand into ready-to-wear revive my violent passion for the brand. [Fashionista]
Though somewhat substantiated rumors were flying that Hedi Slimane was in talks to oversee Diesel's new Red Collection, the word on the runway is that, after a reported meeting between Slimane and Renzo Rosso, a deal has yet to be made--and may never be made. [WWD]
Out.com's very own Nick Burns sheds light on new techniques, processes and information in the middle-aged battle against gray hair. I see him around the office and I think he might be losing the battle... (joking my dear) [NY Times]
Kanye West is always looking for another project to slap his name on to further establish himself as the master of, well, everything. So, it's no surprise that he has chosen cult Australian denim brand Ksubi to collaborate with his own label, Pastelle, to launch a line of eye wear. [British Vogue]
OK, we can tolerate Agyness Deyn's foray into music with her marginal collaboration with Five O'Clock horses, but Jessica Stam as a DJ? Tyra Banks goes off and gets a talk show and now every model out there thinks they are entitled to flaunt their "talents." Save it for the Apollo, girls. [Fashionista]
PF Flyers made basketball legend Bob Cousy a superstar on the court; and, now that the brand has relaunched Bob's all-American low tops from 1956, you too can channel greatness. Maybe not with a basketball, but you'll look cute! [Material Interest]
I'm hearing that the striped button down shirt is back again, only now it's all about subtly rather than those loud colorful versions we saw a few seasons ago. Hmm, the frat boys must be freaking out. [NY Times] -- SETH PLATTNER
As reported yesterday, The Metropolitan Museum was prepping for the onslaught of glitterati that would descend upon the Costume Institute Gala for the opening of the exhibition "Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy." It was A-list all the way. We found our invitation buried under some magazines on the coffee table, but all the gay drama on Gossip Girl was way better. [WWD]
Though guaranteed to remain Project Runway's sponsor through season five (which premieres this summer), is ELLE in danger of being dethroned by Marie Claire in season six? After all, Nina Garcia was spotted leaving the Hearts building—which owns MC—last week.[The Cut]
We were all admittedly nervous when we heard Agnyess Deyn was set to make her debut in the music industry with a collaboration with hipster New York band Five O'Clock Horses. Well, their first single is out...and it's not that bad! [Perez Hilton]
After rolling out diffusion lines from Madonna, Stella McCartney and Roberto Cavalli, Donatella Versace told a crowd at The New York Times' TimesTalk that Versace will not collaborate with H&M for their own lower-priced line. Then she started talking about wearing leather, taking drugs and being lonely, and everyone got slightly uncomfortable. [The Cut]
Sarah Jessica Parker also gave her own, thankfully less awkward interview at the TimesTalk last Friday where she dished on, what else, the Sex and the City movie. Our appetites (and maybe our pants) are wet. [Fashionista] -- SETH PLATTNER
Is Coach planning to purchase iconic British fashion brand Burberry? Wall Street is aflutter with speculation. [Bloomberg]
Take a peek inside Prada HQ. They even have a gigantic slide by German artist Carsten Höller in the courtyard Local lore says that Miuccia Prada herself likes to slide down the installation when inspiration strikes. How can you not love her? [FT]
The face of Burberry and model of the moment Agyness Deyn is trying her hand at being a rock star. She lent her vocal stylings to a track by Five O'Clock Heroes. The model/rockstar crossovers haven't gone well in years past and lucky for us, NY Mag has a roundup of model singers past. [The Cut]
Lanvin's Alber Elbaz is designing a line of jeans for Acne. But don't expect them to be in Acne's usual price range—they will sell at the same price points as Lanvin's ready to wear items. I hope they make some jeans for guys this time! [FWD]

Is Italian Vogue doing an issue full of black models shot by photog Steven Meisel? Could this mean that the tides are finally turning for the Vogue empire? [Fashionista]
Christian Lacroix has signed up to design the interiors of a new building in Dubai. Don't expect chic modernism. "The interiors will be based on paradox - contemporary and baroque,
blending East and West, old and new, inspired by history and folklore." In other words, it will totally fit in with Dubai's reputation as the Las Vegas of the Middle East. [British Vogue]
Phone-throwing and alleged spit-hurling supermodel Naomi Campbell will appear on Ugly Betty. The closed set is sure to require hard hats while Naomi is on set. [The Cut]
You might not be able to afford to drive a Lamborghini but you can make up for your bedroom short comings with a Lamborghini laptop computer. The perfect gift for any computer nerd who feels inadequate. [Gizmodo]

Giorgio Armani loves his gadgets. As a follow up to his Armani Samsung mobile phone, he is designing an LCD flat-screen television, taking Armani Casa to a whole new level. [WWD]
Karl Lagerfeld: The Videogame. Okay, not exactly, but his likeness will appear in the latest installment of Grand Theft Auto as a radio DJ. I thought the game was about hookers and running over pedestrians? Is this some subliminal advertising for Chanel and Fendi? [Fashionista]
Was Naomi Campbell banned from flying British Airways after her recent

What would Martha Stewart do with all of her subscription cards? Why, turn them into wall art, of course! [Fashionista]
There are many qualities of a leader—and being a sneaker connoisseur turns out to be one of them. A study found that people who bought more three or more pairs of sneakers a year were more likely to have leadership qualities than the less-sneaker-oriented folks. I wonder what researchers have to say about men who wear high heels? [Yahoo/Reuters]

Madonna mined the Dolce & Gabbana archives to resurrect a 20+ year old corset and a fur-trimmed coat from the Italian designers' 1995 menswear collection. Meanwhile, on the ridiculous "electric youth"-style cover for her song with Justin Timberlake, 4 Minutes, her Madgesty wore head-to-toe Roberto Cavalli. Justin, however, was not so lucky with wardrobe. Let's just say that Madonna knows to make it clear who is the bitch in charge and who is just the bitch. [WWD]

Have you seen an episode of the brilliance that is "Americas Most Smartest Model" on VH1? Oh, yes, pretty people pretending to be smart never gets old! Real models, attempt to prove their intelligence through quizzes, educational challenges (i.e. Science Fairs, etc) and modeling. It's "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader" meets "Americas Next Top Model" topped off with Ben Stein.
The hot (and hot-headed) Russian model who always says the darnedest things, Andre, caught my eye because he has graced the pages of a couple gay magazines in the past (though he swears up and down he's not on our team). A couple years ago, I cast him in a photo shoot for M2M, a one-off fag mag that never left left the ground. According to VH1's website, he was recently struck a pose for Saks Fifth Avenue and Converse.
For more photos of Andre, check out his portfolio at Boss Models.
And take a peek at the money shot from M2M (may it rest in peace) after the jump!

Giorgio Armani follows in the footsteps of Prada, Diane von Furstenberg and Calvin Klein by announcing plans to launch an Armani-branded cell phone in Europe this fall. Prada teamed up with LG last year to create a chic touch-screen number, and Diane von Furstenberg designed a DVF T-Mobile Sidekick. Will the Armani phone be an iPhone killer? Probably not. [Fashionista]

Tyra Bank's Next Top Model empire is expanding (again!), but this time, she's hitting the epicenter of hot models, Brazil. According to OMG Blog, Brazil's hottest export, Gisele Bundchen (of Victoria's Secret and Leo DiCaprio fame) has been tapped to host the show. That brings "Top Model" shows to a total of 28 countries.
When will Tyra realize that gay men are her key demographic and throw us a Next Top Model with men? Didn't Bravo's Manhunt do well enough? Does anyone remember Manhunt? And I'm talking about the reality TV show here, not your favorite late-night cruising website. Sheesh!

We didn't know what to expect when we examined the program for Buckler's fall fashion show in the tents on Saturday afternoon—but the man never ceases to leave us inspired and this show was no exception. The collection was titled “Close Encounters,” which the nerds among us immediately clocked as a sci-fi reference, though sci-fi fused with house music and what the program notes described as “anatomical muscular illustrations,” which naturally whetted our appetites. Sure enough, plenty of musculature was on display, most of it belonging to sexy Oregonian Chad White (above) hot off the red eye from California where he'd just shot a story with Francois Rousseau for the May issue of Out. Who needs beauty sleep at that age? Chad strode down the catwalk looking as sprightly as morning wood in a pair of tighty whities too tight to leave anything to the imagination. And the name for those panties that young Chad filled so handsomely? “Sexy Bastard Cock Thruster brief.” Um, we'll have 10 of those please...
