I don't know if I would put that much effort into getting dressed for the premiere of a movie that is so pot-centric you leave the theater feeling like you've just puff-puff-passed yourself, but Daniel Craig is working that Tom Ford three-piece suit the way 007 would be expected to. The chic gray is perfectly toned with his just-tan-enough skin, the lavender pocket square is a nice touch, and that he's showing a bit of his shirt cuff says he's got the eye for details (or his stylist does, at least). I like that he's taken a perfectly tailored and, given that it's Tom Ford, totally high-end suit but still made it casual with the sunglasses and scruffy face. He may be channeling Mr. Ford himself a little too much with the big sunglasses and extremely spread collar, but no doubt Craig has the pecs to flaunt so we'll forgive him and at the same time thank him for the gratuitous display.
And, for the record, she looks fabulous too. She being Satsuki Mitchell, who does well as an accessory on his arm.

Passing Judgment: being that he is headlining the Fashion Rocks concert, it's no surprise to see Justin Timberlake grace this year's FR mag cover--and he is "gracing" with all the svelteness of a high class waiter. [The Cut]
A happy belated Birthday to the ever
inspiring and always fabulous Tim Gunn! At 55 he's still working it
like he owns it, because he basically does. [AP]
If you have, like $18,000 to blow on just whatever, you can get your very own pair of vintage (and we mean vintage) Levi's from the 1890's that were found in a mine in the Rand Mining District, on the Mojave Desert,. California. Sounds like a totally legit investment. [Kottke]
Did they or didn't they, did they or didn't they? In what is likely only a brilliant publicity stunt on Marc Jacob's part, everyone is still guessing whether he wed is three-month Brazilian boyfriend this past weekend. It's almost too much to handle, but you bet your bottoms I'm going to do my best to keep up. [The Cut]
It looks like someone's shelf life is about to expire; it's being reported that Jil Sander is up for sale. The label was purchased by a private equity fund in 2006 (which bodes so well for a designer label), but they are claiming fatigue of "waiting for Jil Sander’s bottom line to match its critical acclaim." Vanity Fair has just released it's annual best dressed list. Topping the list of men? David Beckham. Coming in at number two? His bulge. [The Cut]

After the continued success of Prada's women's scent Infusion d’Iris, Spanish company Puig is releasing a men's Infusion fragrance in October. Similar to the female version, it combines Florentine iris with cedar, vetiver, olibanum and benzoin, and comes in a bottle modeled on the women’s version. Sounds like Prada is running a little dry on originality over there...[Cosmetic News]
Karl Lagerfeld does it for the girls and boys with his new fragrance,
Kapsule. All three unisex scents will hit the States in November.
Some of Lagerfeld's favorite scents? Fresh bread, vanilla, woods and
spices. Fresh bread? Can we expect to smell like a bakery with these
new scents? Come November, we'll find out. [WWD]
For all you art-saavy men out there, it was just announced that Christie's will auction off a large portion of Yves Saint Laurent's art collection in February. Estimated at nearly $600 million, his well stocked collection includes pieces from Picasso, Mondrian, Matisse, Goya and, of course, Warhol. I've got my bidding paddle ready! [Fashionista]
Passing Judgment: David Beckham wore some hideous--and I mean hideous--eye wear when leaving a restaurant the other night. Usually he's so impeccably dressed. I'm calling for five more Armani Underwear ads to make up for this atrocity. I'm already in touch with his people. [The Sun]
The thought of Pierre Hardy designing shoes for The Gap sent our little heads swirling with the possibilities of the vast array of footwear he would create. Alas, the only thing we'll get out of him for fall is a pair of combat boots and a taupe desert boot. He's such a tease, that Pierre Hardy. [Material Interest]

Our favorite Project Runway alum Christian Siriano hit the red carpet at last night's premiere of Sex and the City at Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan. While his designs for Project Runway and Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham are quite fabulous, his own style stooped to new lows. He stepped out in a metallic gold lamé tuxedo shirt. Miss Siriano is one pair of roller skates, a big fro and a line of cocaine short of a Studio 54 swingers party. Not fierce, Christian. It's not a hot tranny mess. It's a flat-out mess. Even Patricia Field was embarrassed for him.

Brad Pitt stepped out with a very pregnant Angelina Jolie in Cannes today looking quite dapper and a little Clooney-esque. He worked the red carpet in a made-to-measure, black, two-piece, notch-lapel wool suit with a white shirt, a black silk jacquard tie and a pair of black cap-toe leather shoes, all by Tom Ford's Menswear Collection. The power couple attended the Kung Fu Panda premiere at the 61st Cannes International Film.

I love Valentino. The man has made some incredibly sexy clothes for men and women. But since he retired from designing clothes, I'm concerned. While I'm sure he would like everyone to think that he has been relaxing in Saint Tropez, it looks like he has been spending some quality time with a bottle of St.Tropez sunless tanner instead! Lay off the bronzer, Valentino.
Of course, the big irony here, is that this photo was snapped last night while he attended Tom Sachs Bronze Collection for Lever House in New York City. Valentino didn't get the memo that the art would be in bronze, not the attendees.
Out covergirl Tilda Swinton and Justin Bond of Kiki & Herb and Shortbus fame, hit the red carpet together at the Costume Institute's Gala on Monday night. And, they look eerily similar—each one channeling a different era of David Bowie's career (who was also in attendance that evening). Could these busom buddies have been separated at birth?
Tranny? or Hot tranny mess?

Model-turned-actor Jason Lewis of Sex and the City fame, is still mighty delicious (even with this One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest expression on his face). You'll see much more of him in the coming days as the Sex and the City movie in which he appears nears its May release date. I mean, let's be honest, Lewis definitely upped the queer viewer ratings for the show in its final season. But did he have to wear his Adidas sneakers in the photo above? A pair of Gucci loafers would be perfect with this simple and casual outfit. And why are both of his hands in his pockets? That usually means he's hiding something.

My sassy sister at Popnography and I both love us some is-he-or-isn't-he Hayden Christensen, and you better believe that I was in the audience for the opening night of the sci-fi nerdfest with a side of man candy that is Jumper.
When I came across this photos from his recent TRL appearance, I hardly recognized my leading-man-crush because he looks like a completely different person. Maybe he has found some powerful antiaging moisturizer because he looks about 16 years old, or his makeup artist needs to be shot. But his outfit is cute, classic, simple and absolutely foolproof. While wearing all-black might lack imagination, I kind of love the renewed interest in 90s minimalism.
Maybe I've lived in New York for too long.

Even when Ricky Martin is on his knees and giving his best "O" face, he manages to look quite dapper in a beautifully-tailored, two-button, gray suit with a black skinny tie. The hair could use a little help. Of course, having a few fossils in ill-fitting clothes stand behind you can also make you look better by comparison.

At a reader's request, here are before and after photos of Mika's fresh new look.
I almost didn't recognize Mika in his spit-polished style. It's amazing what a comb, some hair relaxer and a bit of good product can do to tame some unruly curls—not that I have anything against curls. Mika looks quite handsome when he's not sporting his usual casual garb. The guy cleans up well, what else can I say?

Meet Canadian designer Karim Rashid—and his pink getup.
This is the same man who once told fab Magazine (thanks Queerty!), "I use pink a lot. I’ve been using pink since I was a teenager. I went
to my high school graduation in a pink satin suit with pink hair and
pink nails in 1976. It’s not like I’ve changed a lot. It’s always been
a part of me. Pink is strong."
I love pink as much as the next queen, but this is much too much! Rashid looks like he's preparing to join the gay gang, The Pink Panthers (that's a reference to the film Jeffrey, by the way)

I love Seal. He usually has great style—he's Heidi Klum's baby daddy for Imitation of Christ's sake! However, it seems that Seal's style sensibilities took the night off when he was snapped in Las Vegas for Andre Agassi's 12th Annual Grand Slam for Children. A white tuxedo jacket, a gauzy white button down, a white scarf and a white leather bag? Where does he think he is? The White Party?
