Unruly Heir Toasts Spring Preview

Unruly Heir hosted a glamorous preview of its highly anticipated spring 2008 line, “Port Authority to Palm Beach,” last week at Bloomingdale’s in Soho. And the stylish boys were out in full force perusing the line and picking up their spring/summer essentials.
Unruly Heir gives the 1930s classics (think bowties, vests and check) a modern and irreverent update by adding a bit of downtown cool. The "Port Authority to Palm Beach" collection is just the right amounts of classy and trashy. For instance, inside some of their coats hides a print of watches and jewelry, invoking the Chinatown hustler hawking his knock-off wares on the street corner.
After the in-store event, Unruly Heir supporters headed over to a private seated dinner at Thor at the Hotel on Rivington. Guests included songstress Natasha Bedingfield, designer Gilles Mendel (of J. Mendel), rock royalty Alexandra Richards and many more uptown and downtown personalities. Here are some of our favorite photos of who attended.
